Forge World Kohrne Blood Slaughterer Review

Well, here is my first post and its going to be a review of the Forge World Kohrne Blood Slaughterer. First things first how does it look? Well like most things from Forge World it looks great. On the board its a stand out piece that seems to get a lot of attention from round one. I think this is just because of the way it looks as I run it as a Chaos Space Marine dreadnought with close combat weapons and they don't seem to draw as much fire as this model. This can be an advantage if you have
less conspicuous models you want to get up the board, but I just like getting it stuck in so bit of a downer. The model comes in a small plastic bag and is lighter than I was expecting. The instructions that came with it were a poor photocopy which was disappointing with a model as expensive as this, but it goes together quite straight forward so was not to much of a problem. The detail on the model is really nice and its only as you start to paint it that you get a real idea of how much there actually is. The tubes and emblems are sharp and well defined in most places but do become a little lacking when they get close to the body, and the skulls and skeletons caught up in the model are a really nice touch. All in all this is a really nice model that will be getting some friends to play with as a hoard of slaughterers scuttling across the table sounds great to me.
